Undergraduate Students: Must complete 18–20 semester credits within 12 months of authorization in the online orientation course.
Graduate Students (excluding MBA): Must complete 12 semester credits within the same 12-month period.
MBA Students: Must complete each individual course within its designated 12-week schedule.
ETU recognizes that unforeseen circumstances can affect progress. Students who complete at least 50% of their term courses but cannot meet the full requirement may apply for one academic extension of up to 6 months. Extensions must be requested at the end of the original enrollment period using the official form. Note: All coursework must be completed within the extended period, or the course must be retaken.
Students enrolled in individual courses must submit at least one assignment per month. Note that this minimum submission rate does not extend the standard 3-month completion deadline outlined in the enrollment agreement.
MBA courses must be completed within 12 weeks. A grade of Incomplete (I) will be assigned if unfinished, with a 30-day grace period to submit remaining work. Students must complete at least 3 courses within 12 months to maintain active enrollment status.
Students must remain current with tuition payments to access academic services. Coursework will be held ungraded, and future course registration will be blocked until past-due balances are resolved. ETU may cancel the enrollment of any student with payments overdue by more than 60 days.
Denial of Admission: ETU reserves the right to deny applicants deemed unprepared for college-level work based on application review.
Aptitude Policy: If academic staff determine a student lacks the aptitude to succeed in their program, the student may be withdrawn and will receive a full refund for incomplete coursework.
Independent Study Policy: All students must sign and adhere to the Independent Study Pledge, affirming that submitted work is original and independently completed.
Proctored Examinations: All exams require an approved, impartial proctor (e.g., librarian, supervisor, educational administrator). Family members or friends are not permitted. Proctors must be pre-approved by ETU, and exams taken with unapproved proctors will not be accepted. Any falsification of proctor information will result in expulsion under the Academic Misconduct Policy.
Misconduct—including plagiarism, cheating, falsifying records, or abusive behavior—may result in penalties ranging from reprimand to dismissal.
