All master's programs are designed to be completed in a minimum of 9 months up to a maximum of 2 years.

πŸ“‹ Admission Requirements

General Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum GPA of 2.67 on a 4.0 scale from an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

  • International Transcripts: Must be evaluated by World Evaluation Services (WES) before submission to ETU.

  • Internet Access is required for all students.

πŸ”„ Provisional Enrollment:

Students who do not initially meet the requirements may be admitted on a provisional, course-by-course basis, with approval from the department chair.

Conditions for Obtaining Full Enrollment Status:

  • Maintain a GPA of 2.67 (B-) in the first 3 graduate courses

  • Complete all prerequisite coursework at ETU

  • Students who fail to meet these requirements will not be enrolled.

Program Specific Admission Requirements
MSCS (Master of Science in Computer Science) • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field • Proficiency in C or C++ programming and discrete mathematics
MSIS (Master of Science in Information Systems) • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Management, or a related field • 2 years of work experience in information systems and/or business operations is preferred
MBA (Master of Business Administration) • Students may enroll in a single course or up to four courses per year

  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web browser software

  • Proven college-level proficiency in written English


βœ… Graduation Requirements

Academic Requirements:

  1. Complete a total of 39 credit hours

  2. Maintain an overall GPA of 2.67

  3. Low-grade limit: No more than two courses with a grade of C+ (2.33) or lower

    • All other courses must be B- (2.67) or higher

  4. No credit is awarded for work or life experience at the master's level

  5. Undergraduate prerequisites may be required for some students

Mandatory Orientation:

  • New full-time students: OR100-ETU Compass course (3 credit hours)

  • Course-by-course students: 1-hour orientation course
